Happy Birthday Karly!

It was that time of year again, Karly's birthday weekend!!  This year because of her upcoming nuptuals the main attraction was a girls day to find Karly's wedding dress.  I was so excited she choose to go to the boutique I went to to find her dress.  I had such great success and it was a blast to go back to the magical store. 

Karly planned for us all to get there a half an hour before the boutique opened in case of a line, and boy was that a good call.  Within 15 min of waiting at the door (we were first) there was an impressive line of women behind us waiting to grab their dress.  As soon as the doors opened women flooded into the small space filled with silk and lace and away we went.  Each bride was given 8 clips to clip on the hangers to reserve their dress and Karly's tactic was to give each bridesmaid a clip or so to pick an option and then she took four herself.

After about 6 tries Karly slipped on the dress she that made her light up and it was clear, she had found THE ONE.  All smiles we loaded up her dress and oursleves and headed over to the Ivy for lunch and and some shopping on Robertson.  It was a really fun day.

This weekend also consisted of great group dinners and breakfasts as a usual family activity.  As always it was great to see everyone and spend time with so many people we care about.
