Hola Chile!

This year my family (all but Les, Martin, Calvin and Nate- tear) had the great opportunity to go to Chile together for a family vacation and to be a part of Dayana's wedding.  I cant tell you how much I loved this trip.  More than anything, it was the perfect get away from real life and paired with spending so much time with my family really put things in perspective for me again and centered me.  It is scary how easily and quickly we can fall into traps of ugly from the world around us and how just as easily and quickly our families and loved ones can snap us right into remembering who we are.

It was like heaven on earth to bond with my nephew Easton.  He is basically my soul mate.  Melts my heart, makes me laugh and is such a sweetheart.  I really have never loved a little one like I do my nephews.  They are utter perfection in my eyes.  And after a full week with my little Easton we really bonded... I loved it.  It was so fun to see "Gayma and Bumbpa" with him too.  He was so in love with those two.

Poor Nanoo, Easton, Grandpa, Dad and Anita all had struggles with the stomach bug while we were there, Nanoo's was the worse and put her in the hospital.  After medical attention though we were all up and running pretty quickly and were able to enjoy the bulk of our vacation.

While we were there we did a ton of sight seeing, a day at the most amazing beach Zapallar (think Carmel, CA but all in Spanish), Dayana's wedding which was very beautiful, eating, hiking, shopping, laying out, and visiting with cousins.  It was so much fun and made me wish Chile was closer so we could have a redo with our family every year.

Prepare for serious picture overload

{The above picture is actually of a house on the road up to Zapallar.  It is the most stunning house built on a cliff IN a rock.  The picture doesn't even do it justice}

{Dad and his brother Pedro sat in the same poses every single time they were sitting together.  Brotherly love!}
