We started the weekend off with Dinner of just the Smith/Calver family at Saddleranch on Sunset Blvd. To sum the eve up--- the BEST way to kick start a really really fun weekend. We had karaoke with a two man band (thank you Ryan for your aggressive and very talented I might add singing skills), great food, lots of laughs, and unarguably with the highlight as Barbara vs. The Bull. I will try to load the video but will def. get the pictures up. She was brave and did a really good job, and for the spectators (aka the Family) it was a memory to go down in the books.
The next day was a wonderful day of shopping, meals and great company at the beach. Then the official birthday dinner at Javier's in Orange County. It has been a little over a year since I have been fully immersed in the Smith/Calver family and I have just loved falling in love with Nate's family. They are such wonderful people and in only a year I already feel so close to them. I am a lucky girl to have such a great new family!!
The rest of the weekend consisted of DISNEY and it was amazing! There were 21 of us there together and I would have thought it would have been a bit stressful trying to get so many people together to enjoy the day, but it was actually SO much fun going in such a big group. It is pretty darn cool to be on a ride when you know EVERYBODY else on it with you. We started at the park at 9am and did not leave until 11:30pm. It was honestly one of the best Disney trips to date, I loved it!
