Palm Springs

Nate and I have found our two heaven on earth spots and try to visit them as frequently as we can.  (Dedicated a post to them here for your enjoyment :) )  This last weekend was one of those "as frequently as we can" moments.

Our first trip to Palm Springs together we stayed at the Parker.  We fell in love with it so much that we have never ventured out to another spot.  We always say we should, we will, we may.... but then we always end up back at the Parker and immediately thank ourselves for staying loyal.  The place is amazing.  Very retro/trendy.  Very tranquil and quiet.  Has everything you need to make heaven.  Ping pong, croquet, bocce ball, pools, spas, AMAZING food at their restaurants, a guy that rides around on a bike delivering drinks, lemonade, fun music, hammocks.  You really don't need to leave the site, and we rarely do.

Side note- the Parker hotel is actually where our very own Prince Parker Smith got his name.  Yup- we are oddly obsessed.

So anyway, this weekend we escaped it all- the wedding plans, work, traffic, time, and hung out together at our favorite place.  It was heaven!  Full with shopping trips, pool time, full day at the spa, midnight run to the casino and amazing meals - we cam back to LA recharged and ready to plow through things. :)
