Bachelor Madness

A couple of weeks ago Nate had his Bachelor party, and boy did he live it up!  I am forever grateful to Matt Cusik for all that he did for Nate in preparing his celebratory weekend.  I believe it was a total of 13 guys that got together for a promising male boding experience and did things right. 

The weekend started on Friday with mostly family and Matt and Wes.  We had dinner at Saddleranch (a Smith/Calver favorite), and then the boys separated and had a late and fun night at a bowling ally.  From the stories, I am VERY surprised they didn't get kicked out (throwing balls down other people's lanes for bets seemed to be a consistent theme).
Saturday is when things really kicked off as I kissed my boy and sent him with his "wolf pack".  They went golfing all morning in Malibu, followed by dinner and boy activities that evening, finally resting their heads (I'm sure as the sun was coming out) at a hotel in Hollywood.  The next morning they all woke up and took off for some betting fun at the horse race tracks. 

Nate was smiles from ear to ear, and every guy I have talked to since says it was the best time.  Nate has extremely fun friends and an amazing fun and tight family.  THANK YOU to everyone who came and made Nate's weekend so memorable. 

Meanwhile back in Lady-ville, Barbara, Karly and I had a smashing weekend.  We stayed at the Beverly Hilton, went out to lovely meals, and had a memory making hair/makeup trial run.  Lets just say we will NOT be going with the hairdresser we tried, and THANK GOODNESS for trial runs, because I would have gone postal if the end results would have shown up on the big day.  Lol.
