Surf & Sand

Last Thursday Nate announced that he wanted to give me a great weekend to relax.  Since I worked all day on Saturday the weekend started on Friday with a DELICIOUS dinner at one of our favorites, Mr. Chow (where we were sitting kitty corner from the Hiltons and Kim Richards- from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills).  Saturday I worked, and after the bell rang I rushed over to the DryBar to get my hair all gussied up and then we drove down to Laguna Beach for dinner with his Mother and Brent.

Then.... off to Surf & Sand resort.  Ahhhh... divine!

The hotel is pressed right up against the waves.  Like RIGHT up against the waves.  There is a really cozy feel with fire pits everywhere looking out on beach.  The rooms are beautiful and the best part is that an entire wall faces the ocean and is floor to ceiling windows that you can open up and fall asleep to a really well lit beach of waves. Then wake up to a view of dolphins swimming, pelicans eating, waves crashing, bright morning.  It was heaven.  The rooms actually provide you with ear plugs because the ocean is loud enough to potentially keep people up.  Nice!

Sunday we had a delicious brunch, laid out for a couple hours in prime pool side real estate, and then finished our stay at the spa with a great facial.

I am so lucky to have such a thoughtful man in my life.  Thank you Nate for taking such amazing and thoughtful care of me!   Love you Honey Boo Boo Child!
