Saddlerock Ranch

The past couple weekends have been like defcon 20 in our home.  Wedding galore.  Sometimes productive, sometimes resulting in me rolling on the floor like a three year old throwing a temper tantrum and Nate looking at me like he may sell me to the wolves while getting super anxious and intense.  But, I can say, thank goodness for him!  We are checking things off the list left and right.  And though new things are being added to "the list" daily, they are getting crossed off just as fast in large because of him.  It is shaping out to be such a wonderful event, and I am so excited to see it come to flourishion.

Last week we met with the bishop for some sound advice, and to prepare what the day was going to be like, it was such a great experience.  Lesson learned, to split the yolk equally.  Meaning the yoke of a ox and cart.  If both ox split the load equally, not one faster or slower, and the they are both going in the same direction, together the ox can accomplish anything and go on for a very long time.  But as soon as there is division in their efforts, it ends up resulting in in harm on both parties and no achievements.  Wise advise I plan to take with me through our marriage.

Then about two weeks ago we went to Saddlerock for a final walk through with the majority of our vendors.  It was such a blast.  Here are some photos.

We left Parker off of the leash the entire time (which he is officially a STUD at).  He ran around like a farm dog so much that by the time we got him back in the car he could barely catch his breath and was so so hot.  We made an emergency stop at a gas station to give the poor pup water, and I have never seen him drink as fast as he did.
