Fun Night and a Fall

Last weekend Nate and I went bowling, dancing and bike riding with some friends.  Bowling was a blast (and I bowled the best I have ever done... a whopping 99!), and dancing... well if you were Pearl or myself dancing was to die for.  Anyone else and it seemed not quite as fun.  lol.

BECAUSE THERE WERE SO MANY OF US WE BROKE UP INTO GROUPS.  I OFFERED TO BE THE GIRL ON THE BOYS TEAM (BECAUSE I WAS CONFIDENT THAT WOULD BE THE WINNING TEAM).  I WAS RIGHT.

SALSA DANCING

The next morning a group of us met up for bike riding on the beach.  We tried to put Parker in the basket again for round two of "pleasant family bike riding".  FAIL.  He was so annoying and after about an hour and a half we had to take off before Kamikaze dog decided to try and trick himself out of the basket on the moving bike.  He was so badly behaved I am pretty sure that was the last time he experiences that joy for quite some time.

To follow up the weekend I took a pretty big fall while walking Parker at lunch on Monday.  Long story short, after a slip and hard fall I walked away with bruised ribs, hips, elbows and after a few hours at the ER a diagnosis of a concussion.  I was ordered to stay bed ridden for two days following to recover my shaken brain.  Though at work I typically dream of days I could be doing nothing but lay around at the house... it was miserable.  By yesterday afternoon I was so bored I was about to loose my mind.  Made me very nervous for days at home with a baby.
