Happy Independence Day!

I have a big time crush.  I mean seriously.  Sometimes I look over at him and its like I am seeing him with new eyes.  swoooon.

 

 

In other news... this fourth was a good one celebrated with great friends.  We both worked in the morning, but regrouped in the afternoon with a little laying out on the roof, nap in the living room, and then off to Pearl's bro's bbq. 

After some good laughs we met up with the Church's to watch fireworks.  Little Elsie (who is two and a genius) made the experience soo much better than just fire in the sky.  Her anticipation before the show grew to such great extents that she could barely contain herself when the first firework went off.  From there she burst into full blown laughs and giggles through the ENTIRE show with a few acknowledgements that went something like "Oh my.  Oh my goodness.  'Dat wons humongous".  I was also pretty enthralled by the show (per usual) and therefore didnt get any shots of the sparkles... but here is one of the Churches!

{I am so used to Wisconsin's Rhythm and Booms that is held in a big beautiful park (and is free) that I found it funny that in LA you pay money to simply gather around on a street that is closed off and watch them inbetween buildings.  Good show though.  Glad we did it!}
