Big Bear + 10 Friends = AMAZING

Tatiana, Colin, Celia, Matt, Sophie, Thommas, Dominique, Gerard, Nate and I all packed up and headed to Big Bear this past week for a weekend of fun, memories, and Tat's birthday celebration.  It was such a great time, a def. MUST for repeat.

Highlights:
SKIING- of which Nate and I did pretty well and LOVED.  Expect many more posts of us in the snow, because I think we will be buying gear here soon.
NATE BRAVING THE BLUE RUN- recap of the story told by Colin... skiing down the hill to find a ski separated from its rider on the side of the slope, then 20 ft down... another ski.  Another 20 ft. down a pole.  20 ft after that, another pole..  As Colin- being the good Samaritan he is picked up each piece to deliver to whomever lost them on their way down, he spots the victim of the accident.  About 100 ft. down from the last pole found was the culprit.  Colin skied down to the person and, oh wait, could it be?  Alas, it was our very own Nate Smith.  Hahaha.  He took a spin down the hill loosing all equipment and rolled down the hill head over feet.  Funny story.  But funny because he was not injured.
THE MELTDOWN- here goes... peer pressure face in cake moment, intense game of Cranium, Dominique getting a good slap on the hand, falling down a flight of stairs, falling down the hill, getting locked out of the house-in the middle of the night-alone- for hours, cops, sleeping in cars, hot tubbing in the nude, trying to escape the hot tub (because of fear of being locked out of the house again, even though the hot tub was in the house), screaming intense things outside of the house at wee hours of the morning, crying loudly outside at wee hours in the morning...  Mr.- you know who you are, and though it called for a late night- you have given us some seriously amazing memories, lol- ty.

All of this sprinkled in with, birthday songs, cake eating, puppies playing, loading up the Escalade to capacity, BEAUTIFUL weather on the slopes, dinner, GREAT company, games, more games, and a whole lot of amazing bonding with amazing people.

Until the next group trip my peeps- we did well!
