This past weekend Nate and I took a trip up to Napa with his dad and Laurie for our very first music festival together. The line up was hard for us to resist with Kings of Leon, Black Keys, Ben Harper, Alabama Shakes and tons of other favorites slated to preform. As always we had the best time ever with our favorite travel buddies. John and Laurie are a dream to travel with. Really easy going, no real schedule needed unless you want one, great convos, fun and always a bunch of memories made. This trip was no exception. I was nursing a terrible cold all weekend and was so afraid to be such a drag. But the whole group went with the punches and even though we had to create a different event plan, we ended up having the best weekend.
The concerts were great, we met some fun new people, had amazing food truck food, and relaxed in Sonoma at our beautiful hotel the Lodge for four days. Heaven.
Nate and I fell in love with the interior of the hotel. Decided it is what we will model our future homes after.

Saturday was a tough day for me. I was so sick all day and decided laying by the pool and napping all day while the others hit the town was the best medicine. It worked.
Night two- KINGS OF LEON. Nate's favorite band, I was so excited to finally see them with him. They did not disappoint.
