Love

This is more for me than for you, but I want to remember it, so in the journal blog it goes.

Last night I was a princess.
After Nate and I crawled into bed and turned out the lights, baby boy started doing his pre bedtime dances in my stomach.  Nate lovingly rested his hand on baby boy's home to feel the movement, and somehow got to reminiscing about us.  He talked about first meeting me, anticipations of dating, our first date, first kiss, first I love yous... all of my most favorite memories.

Nate and I have my perfect "falling in love" love story.  No drama, no chaos.  All of our memories and progressions were made naturally and with ease and respect.  We built a foundation of pure admiration, respect and joy, and I couldn't be more grateful for such a strong relationship.

Being married to Nate is such a treat.  Our relationship has evolved (and I know is about to go through more evolution with baby boy on his way) into something of deeper and greater love, admiration and respect.  We have replaced giggly firsts with full support for each other.  I feel so lucky to be able to make decisions, live memories together and share life with a man as perfect for me as Nate.

Reminiscing of our firsts with each other last night was perfection.  I fell asleep to my husband telling me love stories, and felt like such a princess.
