Its that time of year again, where the normal goes away and everything feels a little more magical for about three months. I LOVE the holiday season.
This year I decorated the home in a bit more quiet and classy way. I like it. Doesn't scream Halloween, but makes it festive. I went on a home redecorating kick the other week and repainted our TV stand (LOVE it now), lamp stand (LOVE it now), and lamp (made it gold- LOVE it now). Spray paint has become my best friend these days, and between the majority of my furniture redos and upgrading my target cheepo pumpkins into glamour city... I have loved arts and crafts in the Smith home this year.
With the candles burning and a new love for Pandora music, our home has been filled with the holiday spooks and cheer.
This past weekend we went to the Pumpkin patch as our annual tradition. We had plans to go with Rach and Noah again, but had to reschedule things and ended up going just the three of us (took Parker this time). Then last night we had FHE and carved our pumpkins and cooked our squash, all in the name of Halloween.

Side note
For work this year I dressed up as my boss Rick who is an emo like rocker dude. I took the chance that he would hate me for doing it, but turned out to be a real hit. Phewf!
