I have missed a few of the weekly belly shots due to my unforgiving schedule, but I have a few...
Baby update: We now start seeing the doctor every two weeks up until the last month when it turns into every week. I much more prefer the biweekly Dr. visits. Baby is growing strong and healthy, this week he is about 1 1/2 lbs and about 13 1/2 inches long. He kicks a lot, sometimes enough to wake me up in the middle of the night or keep me from falling asleep. He is his most active first thing in the morning, early afternoon, around 5 or 6pm and right before bed. Most of the time it is just kicks and punches, but when he does big movements (I am guessing roles or flips) it is the craziest feeling. My whole stomach moves if you watch it, and it feels like my insides are completely rearranging. Baby boy likes to hang out low and sometimes when he moves down low it feels like he might walk right out. I love his movements... can be a little exhausting on his super busy days, but is always a reminder he is doing well and growing stronger. The movement is consistent enough now that I never feel alone. My baby boy and I go through it all together which is so cool and makes me that much more conscience of what I am doing so he is always protected.
Body update: Moving is getting harder. I tire a lot easier, bending over does NOT feel good. My skin has stopped being such a pistol, and I am feeling a lot better though. Sleeping is getting harder by the week- thank goodness for my prego pillow- game changer, and getting up from sitting on the floor is becoming a show. Circulation is a struggle, who knew sitting for a second too long could be so uncomfortable. I am definitely pregnant these days. People no longer have to guess, and I have multiple people approach me everyday to congratulate me or make a sweet comment. It has been really great to see how kind and happy people are towards pregnant ladies. Being pregnant has become much more challenging to the day to day life, but SO much more enjoyable when not ill. This kind of pregnancy I can do, much easier to not be pregnant, but this is kind of fun. Though I am gaining weight faster than I EVER have, I am actually enjoying having a bump.
